So, uh.... how outdated is "outdated"? (Re: PvX)
Starting a new question because my first one has gone pretty far afield...
Ok, please, I'm asking very very generally, (because I'm still newish and the jargon is not embedded yet) but in what ways would the "outdatedness" of what is on the PvX wikia (which I've just discovered and am already in love with) most strongly present themselves? I'm looking to program mercs, for doing the point a-b of the stories and perhaps some HoM. Example: "They don't take into account X types of skills that do have been altered to Y, and so anything relying on them doing so should be approached with caution." Thank you in advance for any and all constructive replies |

When people say outdated, they're referring to the new website.
This is the outdated one: http://pvx.wikia.com/wiki/Main_Page This is the new one: http://www.gwpvx.com/PvX_wiki |

As long as you stay away from all "wikia" wikis, you're pretty much guaranteed to have the latest and greatest information, especially in the case of the vetted builds on PvX (though "greatest" there is obviously a matter of opinion). The GW community very much stays on top of things.

dont rely on the pvxwiki and other build sites too much - at times youll need to trust your own variants especially in pvp. GL!

It's always smart to read notices placed on the main page at the top in plain sight.
